If you’re looking for a new show to tune into that has the perfect blend of relationship scandal, beautiful luxury homes, and workplace drama, look no further than Buying Beverly Hills. Season 1 was a smash hit for Netflix after its 2022 release, leading to a quick renewal for Season 2, which releases on Friday, March 22, 2024. Buying Beverly Hills follows the staff at The Agency, a real estate group that Mauricio Umansky, Beverly Hills real estate veteran and husband of socialite Kyle Richards, founded over ten years ago in Beverly Hills, and has emerged as one of the most high-profile luxury real estate brokers in the world.
Umansky is no stranger to the real estate scene, especially given that he worked for Hilton & Hyland, the luxury brokerage group owned by Richard Hilton—yes, that’s Paris Hilton‘s father—who also happens to be his brother-in-law. However, following the beginnings of a rumored feud between the two, Umansky split from the firm to found The Agency, which has since taken off to success.
While you may recognize Umansky as an ultra-successful real estate mogul now, he rose to fame several years ago after being featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as Kyle Richard’s husband. The pair married in 1996 and have since skyrocketed to fame as one of the most notable power couples in Beverly Hills. However, following the release of Buying Beverly Hills, reports have surfaced that the couple has split, and according to TMZ, sources close to the pair speculate that the two are unlikely to reconcile.
Season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills will address the split between the couple, according to Umansky. The filming of the upcoming season took place at the height of all the drama, so fans can look forward to plenty of emotionally charged content in the newest season. Whether you’re planning on tuning in for the latest scoop on all the Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards drama or you simply have an appreciation for a beautiful luxury home, mark your calendars for March 22 for the release of Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills Season 2.
